Decision Explorer

The Decision Explorer provides a structured view of governance decisions with powerful sorting, drill-down, and analysis capabilities. Use it to investigate patterns, identify problematic agents, and understand how the multi-stage pipeline is performing.

Views

Table View

The default view — a sortable, filterable table of all governance decisions:

Timeline View

An alternative visualization showing decisions plotted on a time axis:
Features:
  • Color-coded by action
  • Density indicates request volume
  • Hover to see decision summary
  • Click to open drill-down

Sorting

Click any column header to sort: Multi-column sort: Hold Shift and click a second column to apply secondary sorting.

Drill-Down View

Clicking a decision row opens the drill-down panel showing:

Stage Decisions

A per-stage breakdown of how the decision was made:

Module Evaluations

Each module that contributed to the decision:

Timing Breakdown

A waterfall chart showing the timing of each stage:

Decision Metadata

Every drill-down includes a prominent link:
This navigates to the Evidence Viewer at /evidence/{correlationId} where the complete TEEC envelope is rendered — including reason chains, confidence scores, governance seal, and cost evidence.

Filters

The Decision Explorer supports the same filter set as the Evidence Viewer: Filters apply with AND logic — all active filters must match.

Aggregate Statistics

Above the table, summary stats for the current filter:

Patterns Panel

An AI-free pattern detection sidebar (deterministic, rule-based):
  • Repeated denials: Same agent + same reason code recurring
  • Burst patterns: Sudden spike in requests from one agent
  • Stage escalation: Requests that consistently reach Stage 3
  • Cost anomalies: Requests significantly above the baseline cost
Example:

Export

Export the current view (with active filters) as:
  • CSV: For spreadsheet analysis
  • JSON: For programmatic processing
  • PDF: For compliance reports (summary only)
Maximum export: 10,000 rows per export.

Performance

  • Virtual scrolling for large datasets
  • Server-side pagination and filtering
  • Indexed database queries on all sortable columns
  • WebSocket for real-time new decision notifications
